Uncle Lee's Premium Organic White Tea (camellia sinensis) comes from high in the mountains of the Fujian Province in China and is grown and fermented without pesticides, only with natural fertilizer and with consideration for the preservation of the ecosystem. White tea (youngest camellia sinensis) undergoes very little processing, and the absence of steaming, rolling and oxidation leaves the appearance and cell structure of the tea leaves nearly unaltered. White teas have all the benefits of green tea and are the most delicate of all, their taste being subtle, complex, and mildly sweet. Due to the very little processing, the caffeine content of white tea is also low at approximately 15 to 20 mg per cup. White tea is full of health promoting antioxidants and is one of the healthiest beverages. Our tea bags are always oxygen bleached without the use of any chemicals. Brewing Instructions:
- Bring fresh, filtered water to a near boil (around 170-180°F or 77-82°C).
- Place one tea bag in a cup.
- Pour the hot water over the tea bag.
- Steep for 3-5 minutes, or longer for a stronger flavor.
- Remove the tea bag and enjoy!
