Every honey harvest is more than just a sweet crop. After our honey has been extracted, we carefully sift through our hives to extract the other gold of the beehive — beeswax. With some TLC, our pure beeswax is gently cleaned and filtered, leaving a delicious-smelling, golden wax for our candles. In the early days of Dutchman’s Gold, we poured our candles into glass jars and our new Mason Jar Candles are a tribute to that tradition.

Safety Information: To prevent fire and serious injury, always burn candle within sight. Keep away from drafts and vibrations. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Never burn candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Trim wick to 1/4" before each lighting. Burn candle no more than 4 hours at a time. Place candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
For optimal enjoyment of your 8oz Mason Jar Beeswax Candle:
- Before each use, trim the wick to 1/4 inch. This will ensure a clean and even burn.
- Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable materials, children, and pets.
- Light the candle and allow it to burn for several hours, especially during the first burn. This will create a full melt pool and prevent tunneling.
- Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Extinguish the flame by gently blowing it out or using a candle snuffer.
- Allow the candle to cool completely before handling or relighting.
